    We recommend the Barista Skills Certificate for all beginner baristas.  The Certificate is ideal for those who have no experience.  The course is ideal for baristas looking to find work in a cafe.  This course is the first step in understanding the job as a barista.

    The barista skills certificate course takes 1 day.  The morning session focused on making espresso and latte art. The afternoon session is focused on the coffee drinks menu.  For a full breakdown of the day, see below.

    The Barista Foundation course contributes 5 points towards the SCA Coffee Diploma System.  It is a one day course, suited to beginner baristas and coffee enthusiasts for all ages.  Previous machine experience is recommended, but not essential.  The barista foundation course creates competent and knowledgeable baristas ready to work in a busy cafe environment.
